Installation of Measuring Instrument

Field housing

You require three screws to mount the measuring instrument (6 mm diam.; not included in delivery). The positions of the mounting holes are identified by arrows in the adjacent drawing). The mounting dimensions are printed on the rear of the housing. The measuring instrument can be provided with a protective hood (Order No. XXXX) in order to protect it from major external influences. Mounting on pipelines is possible with this protective hood or with only the base plate (Order No. XXXXX). You require a pipe clamp (Order No. XXXXX, dimensions stated in chapter 3) in this case. The maximum permissible ambient temperature of 55 °C must not be exceeded.

Housing for panel mounting

The mounting dimension is 96 x 96 mm (panel cut-out 92 x 92 mm). The housing of the measuring instrument extends approx. 200 mm to the rear and requires approx. 100 mm more free space for the supply conductors.

Fit the measuring instrument as follows:

· Remove the two M3 screws present on the sides of the rear panel.

· Pull out the two mounting rails.

· Insert the measuring instrument into the panel cut-out from the front.

· Slide the two mounting rails into the provided grooves on the sides of the housing.

· Tighten the two M3 screws again.

· If you wish to install several measuring instruments next to or above one another, mount the rails alternately on the side and the top/ bottom of the housing.

Installation of Fittings

Install the flow fittings as follows:

· Secure the flow fitting vertically on the mounting surface using the mounting parts (Order No. C74451-A1789-D1).

· Connect the flow inlet to the bottom connector and the outlet to the top (side) connector; these connections must be pressure-tight. This guarantees that the fittings are always full, and that the electrodes are always surrounded by the measured medium.

· Insert the electrode holder with the fitted sensor (installation of the sensor is described in Section 2.3) and screw tight using the union nut. Make sure that the gasket is positioned correctly.

Refillable electrodes

When using refillable electrodes, secure the KCI vessel (Order No. C74450-A1 84-A1) above the flow fitting. The height depends on the pressure within the fitting. With a free outlet, a height of approx. 1 m above the flow fitting is sufficient.

Connect the KCI vessel to the electrode via a transparent hose (Order No. C74450-A1 84-D 1).

Immersion fittings

Install the immersion fitting as follows:

· Check that the sensor is installed in the electrode holder, or install it in the latter as described in Section 2.3.

· Secure the connection cable to the plug heads of the electrodes.

· Use a wire or thin cable to pull the cable through the hollow immersion tube and through one of the four compression glands on the head of the immersion tube.

· Tighten the compression glands on the head of the immersion tube, and seal with sealing compound.

When pulling the electrode cable tight, make sure that sufficient cable is free within the immersion tube to permit the electrode holder to be removed easily at the top end of the tube to permit replacement of the electrode.

· Screw the electrode holder and the protective cage tight with the

union nut on the end of the immersion tube.

Make sure that the gasket is positioned correctly in the groove, otherwise water can enter the immersion tube.

You can secure the immersion tube to a wall using the mounting parts (Order No. C74451-A1789-D1, not included in delivery). The fastening is rigid.

Mounting stand

You can install the fittings on a mounting stand (Order No. 7MA8500- 8CG) or a wall fastening (Order No. 7MA8500-8BP). The stand must first be secured on a firm base using four M8 rag bolts. You can then secure the immersion tube to the freely suspended rod of the mounting stand using two commercially available hose clips or the clips included in the delivery.

Монтаж на измервателния преобразувател

Полеви корпус

За монтиране на измервателния преобразувател са необходими три винта (с диаметър 6 mm; те не влизат в обема на доставката). Местата на монтажните отвори са означени със стрелки на съседния чертеж) Монтажните размери са отпечатани на задната страна на корпуса. За защита на измервателния прибор от външни въздействия, той може да бъде снабден със защитен капак (№ за поръчка XXXX) Монтажът върху тръбопроводи е възможен със защитен капак или само с монтажна основа ((№ за поръчка XXXX) За целта е необходима скоба за тръба ((№ за поръчка XXXX, размерите са дадени в Глава 3) Максимално допустимата околна температура е 55 °C и тя не трябва да се превишава.

Корпус за монтаж на панел за управление

Монтажните размери са 96 x 96 mm (отвор на панела 92 x 92 mm). Дължината на корпуса на измервателния преобразувател е приблизително 200 mm и са необходими още около 100 mm свободно пространство за захранващите кабели.

Монтирайте измервателния преобразувател по следния начин:

• Свалете двата M3 винта, намиращи се на задната страна на панела.

• Издърпайте двете монтажни релси

• Поставете измервателния преобразувател в отвора на панела откъм предната страна.

• Плъзнете двете монтажни релси в жлебовете върху страните на корпуса.

• Затегнете отново двата M3 винта.

• Ако искате да монтирате няколко измервателни преобразувателя един до друг или един над друг, монтирайте монтажните релси последователно върху страните и отгоре/отдолу на корпуса

Монтаж на арматури

Монтирайте проточната арматура по следния начин:

• Фиксирайте проточната арматура вертикално върху монтажната повърхност с помощта на монтажните части (№ за поръчка ХХХХ).

• Свържете проточния вход към долния съединител и изхода към горния (страничния) съединител. Тези съединители трябва да бъдат херметично затворени. Това гарантира, че арматурата е винаги пълна и електродите винаги са заобиколени от измерваната среда

• Поставете електродния държач с монтирания датчик (монтажът на датчика е описан в Раздел 2.3) и стегнете здраво с помощта на съединителна гайка. Проверете дали уплътнението е поставено правилно

Електроди с пълнене

Когато използвате електроди с пълнене, фиксирайте съда за KCl (№ за поръчка ХХХХ) над проточната арматура. Височината зависи от налягането в арматурата. При свободен изход височина от около 1 m над проточната арматура е достатъчна.

Свържете съда с KCl към електрода посредством прозрачен маркуч (№ за поръчка ХХХХ)

Потопяеми арматури

Монтирайте потопяемата арматура по следния начин:

• Проверете дали датчикът е монтиран в електродния държач и ако не е, го монтирайте по начина, описан в Раздел 2.3

• Фиксирайте свързващия кабел към съединителните глави на електродите

• Използвайте тел или тънък кабел, за да издърпате кабела през празната потопяема тръба и през една от четирите кабелни втулки с еластично уплътнение върху предната част на потопяемата глава

• Затегнете кабелните муфи в предната част на потопяемата тръба и херметизирайте с уплътняващо вещество

Когато издърпвате кабела, се уверете, че в потопяемата тръба има достатъчно свободен кабел, който позволява електродният държач да бъде свален лесно в горния край на тръбата при смяна на електрода

· Затегнете здраво електродния държач и защитната клетка със съединителна гайка върху края на потопяемата тръба

Проверете дали уплътнението е поставено правилно в жлеба, в противен случай в потопяемата тръба може да влезе въздух

Фиксирайте потопяемата тръба към стена с помощта на монтажни части (№ за поръчка C74451-A1789-D1, не са включени в доставката Фиксирането е твърдо

Монтажен стенд

Вие можете да монтирате арматурата върху монтажен стенд ((№ за поръчка 7MA8500-8CG) или на стена (№ за поръчка 7MA8500-8BP) Стендът трябва да бъде фиксиран предварително към твърда основа с помощта на нарязани анкерни болтове M8 След това фиксирайте потопяемата тръба към свободно стоящата рейка на монтажния стенд с помощта на стандартни шлангови стяги от търговската мрежа или на стягите, включени в доставката
